Sketches
Prior to upskilling to 3D BIM software in 2012 , feasibility studies were produced using a combination of ACAD drafting & hand drawn sketches . While the sketches were easily understood by clients, the 2D ACAD drawings were not particularly useful for ‘selling the design ‘ to clients. So in order to provide a better quality service to our clients we now use 3D software exclusively at design stage , and can produce designs more cost effectively than previously , with visual outputs that are more easily understood by clients.
If photographic realistic images are required by clients or Planning Authorities to fully understand a design , then this can be provided as an additional service or it may be outsourced depending on workload.
A selection of hand drawn sketches for houses & extensions are indicated in this gallery and can be compared with the 3D computer model outputs & 3D visualisations in some of the other portfolio galleries.
